What is a string trimmer?

String trimmer:
A string trimmer, also called a "weed-whip", "whipper-snipper", "weedwacker", a "weed eater" or (in the UK and Ireland). A "strimmer", is to use a flexible monofilament line instead of a cutting blade of grass and other plants near objects, or tools or irregular in steep terrain.
